The Koh Masaki Archive is an artist-run archival project dedicated to Japan’s most legendary gay porn star, Koh Masaki, born in Morioka, Japan in 1983. The site’s ongoing goal is to create a pirated retrospective video collection of Koh’s adult films. Koh debuted in the Japanese adult film industry in 2009 and tragically passed away in 2013 following an appendectomy. Adjacent to his work in pornography, he also worked as a celebrity go-go dancer in gay Asian nightlife worlds.
